Learn River Surfing at the Austrian River Surf Camp 2014

Want to refine your river surfing skills? Prepare for a surf trip? Or learn river surfing from scratch? Here’s your chance!

After a successful start last year, the Austrian River Surf Camp is back … this time with a Techno Camp in July and a special guest: Kathrin Gappmayr (2-times European Champion in Stationary Wave Riding). Free camping, a great instructor and happy people that wanna surf and enjoy two great days at the wave. That sounds like a sweet deal, right?

The Austrian River Surf Camp is a two-day camp at Čunovo Wave, Divoka Voda - a white water park near Bratislava with perfect conditions to learn river surfing, improve your surfing skills or prepare for an upcoming surf trip. At the camp you will be introduced to the sport of river surfing and learn the basics about river waves and safety.

The smooth wave will allow you to gain more actual wave time than you could possibly get on a few weeks surf trip to the sea. Within the first few hours you will already be surfing on the green wave and get a good feel for your board, the water and the right moves. After the camp, you will feel confident to grab a board and go out on your own.

The ARS team is looking forward surfing with you – go get registered!
