Nose Riding? Some Neat Longboard River Surfing

Cross stepping? Hang five? Hang ten? Great tricks for everyone who simply loves the flow and glide in surfing. Yet, these maneuvers are not exactly the most popular tricks in river surfing.

Riding with at least one toe wrapped around the nose of the board is a classics in ocean longboarding, but a trick rarely seen in river surfing. The slow mo footage shows some classic longboard action at Eisbach, Munich. We’d love to see another attempt walking on the board without booties and all five toes rolled over the front of the nose — Who’s in?

Beautiful. Didn’t know longboarding is possible on a wave like the German Eisbach! Very smooth…
