Wave Details

Conditions

From 1.70m-2.60m the spot is like a hole with very small green areas on the edge, the wave is powerless but can be surfed with boogey boards.

At 2.60m on the right shoulder of the spot there is a good green surfable wave.

Up to 3.10m the wave is surfable and on good days you have a 30m green wave. At around 3m the Isar river bursts its banks.

Above 3.10m the wave flattens out but can be surfed with longboards.

Characteristics

Flat wave at all water levels. Entry on the right side of the river (downstream). Keep momentum while paddling through the eddie and enter the wave from behind next to the concrete wall.

Dangers

The gravelly river bed has no dangerous rocks and is deep enough.

For good swimmers the wave is not too dangerous up to 2.60m. During high water the currents are very powerful and may suck you down for a short time (1-2sec).

Tips

There is a very long eddy (up to 60m) enabling you to easily paddle back into the wave.
