Strongwater Mountain Surf
Strongwater, run by Kevin Brown “KB” and Luke Rieker, is the first inland river surf shop in Montana. Located in Missoula, KB and Luke are among the pioneers spreading the stoke of river surfing across the country. They know how to combine business and pleasure like only few people do: “We live to surf & surf daily. Once you tap into a wave and make turns, there’s nothing better. There’s just something special about standing on a board and surfing”.
Strongwater wants river surfers to gain feel & respect for the waves, enjoy the beauty of the river and to improve mind, body and spirit. The guys from Strongwater also offer river surf lessons on Tuesday evenings at 6pm or Saturday afternoons at 3pm. Their classes are limited to four participants and your are looking at 25$ per session or 40$ per session including gear.
