Successful Wave Restoration: Flosslände Surfable Again

Munich’s oldest river surfing spot is going off again. The Floßlände Wave in Thalkirchen, popular with beginners and intermediate river surfers, was recently refurbished by a local river surfing collective called “Interessen Gemeinschaft Surfen in München”.

The wave can now be surfed again from around 02:15pm to 8pm. Beware of the dangers involved with wearing a leash; either don’t wear any, or make sure you are able to open it when dragged under water.
