The Biggest River Wave in The World

This beast is Oldman River Dam Pincher Creek. The wave is the result of the water running down the spillway at the Old Man hydroelectric power plant. When the reservoir gets too full like it is in the video, the spillway acts as a huge overflow drain.

Surfing it?

Are you wondering if this could be the (one) ride of your life? You may even be fine as long as you stay in the wave, but exiting the wave would probably cost you your life. So better don’t even think of surfing it. But if you do, please send in a vid!
