Eyguieres

Eyguières Wave is located on the Canal du Congrès, offering a nice big drop on a perfect iron plate. A very nice flow but no flap yet so not a proper standing wave yet, but with a long rope attached to the bridge it is perfect for playing around with a surfboard or bodyboard.

Wave Details

Characteristics

The wave it always surfable as it is an irrigation canal and the water level is consistent all year long. the river has a drop of about 1.4 meter. The water runs over a iron slate so perfectly flat and straight. The wave itself is due to breaking on the stones at the end of the slate but we will still install a flat to have the perfect wave.

Dangers

You can get in the water on the right side of the wave. The slate is flat but the water is pretty shallow. The underground is just big (20 cm) rocks. Very easy getting in and out.
