On Location: Castle Wave

The wave “Vlna pod Zámkem” near Prague was the second stop of the Surf Anywhere wave project tour. Honza and his crew from surfwave.cz have been working on this project for over a year now and it is amazing to see the result of their efforts.

These passionate surfers have put this wave together with a lot of donated time and effort of labour and about 5.000 Euros. After bringing the stoke to the river in in Brandys nad Labem, Honza has already got the permission to build a second wave in another river next year. With a faster flow and a larger drop than Brandys Wave, Honza aims to get a bigger and faster wave working in about two years from now.
