Making Waves in the Mountains Art Exhibition

Surf Pemberton is a grass-roots community organization dedicated to creating and managing a standing wave surf park for the people of Pemberton and the surrounding area. Established in 2013, the group is currently raising funds, producing a surf park design, writing a management plan and organizing events to bring together local people with a love of surfing. Surf Pemberton is currently on track to begin groundwork in Spring 2014 but needs your assistance! You can help by attending our events, purchasing artwork, donating money online and volunteering for the organisation.

In celebration of surf culture in the region, Surf Pemberton, in association with Whistler Arts Council, presents:

“Making Waves In The Mountains” – An exhibition of surf-inspired art, rooted in British Columbia. Curated by Arne Gutmann.

April 1st to May 11th, 2014 at the Scotia Creek Gallery, Millennium Place, Whistler.
