River Surfing The Cartecay River in Ellijay Georgia
Having some fun on the Cartecay River in Ellijay Georgia, GA 706. The water must be flowing over 3.5 feet for the river wave to be ridable. If anyone knows about any other surf waves in GA feel free to add them to our worldwide river surf map.

Börny Börny was forced to surf the river Mur in Graz / Austria for the first time in 2010 (by PhilK) during the time he made a movie called 'murtreiben' about the local riversurfing scene (sounds very similar to PhilK's story).
